Charge Smart
- Only use the charging cord that came with the device. If you need to buy a new charger, make sure the replacement is approved by the device manufacturer.
- Always plug directly into a wall electrical outlet: Do not plug your device into a power strip or overload an outlet. Do not charge a device under your pillow, on your bed, or on a couch.
- Avoid excessive charging. Constantly charging a device can reduce the battery’s life or cause the battery to stop working.
- Keep lithium-ion batteries at room temperature. Do not charge them at temperatures below 32ºF (0ºC) or above 105ºF (40ºC).
- Never leave any lithium-ion powered device unattended while charging.
- Only charge one device or device battery at a time to prevent overloading the circuit.
- Store e-bikes, e-scooters, and batteries away from exit doors and anything that can get hot or catch fire.
- Only have device repairs performed by a qualified professional.
